In October of 2006 Downtown Petoskey won a Blueprints for Michigan’s Downtowns Cool Cities grant from the State of Michigan.  The nationally renowned firm of HyettPalma visited Downtown Petoskey in January of 2007 and prepared a five year plan for our continued economic development.  The Downtown Management Board adopted that plan into its plan of work and considerable progress has been made toward completing its goals.
