Always the third Saturday in July - July 17th, 2010 - artists from all over the United States descend upon Downtown Petoskey to show off their wares. This year is the silver anniversary for this event. Now, for 25 years, approximately 130 booths have graced Pennsylvania Park, with items ranging from pottery to jewelry, from paintings to photographs, and much more. You are invited to join the thousands of art lovers who attend the event annually to purchase and admire art created by some of the finest artists in the Midwest and from around the country. Hours for the event are 10 am to 6pm.
Festival on the Bay
Come to Petoskey for our 8th Annual Festival on the Bay Friday, the third weekend in August, August 20 through Sunday, August 22, 2010! The Petoskey Regional Chamber of Commerce sponsors this regional, signature event. For more details on events, please visit www.petoskeyfestival.com. Festival on the Bay features include: Live Music, Triathlon, Bay Cruises, an Arts & Crafts Show, a nightly celebration of our "Million Dollar Sunsets" and much more!
During Festival on the Bay, take a little break from the waterfront activities and visit Downtown Petoskey. Enjoy our unique shops, fine dining, and exceptional service and enter the "Treasures in Petoskey" drawing. Use our Downtown Treasure Map to shop Downtown stores. Turn your receipts from Downtown Petoskey merchants into an opportunity to win! Collect receipts from purchases made at any Downtown Petoskey business listed in the Treasure Map guide, show those receipts at the designated location at the Festival, and if they total $100 or more, you can enter a drawing to win a treasure chest of prizes from Downtown businesses. Look for the "Treasures in Petoskey" headquarters at the Festival on the Bay and add the chance to win to your weekend.
Sidewalk Sales
The Petoskey Downtown Management Board invites you to Downtown’s "2010 Annual Sidewalk Sales." Mark you calendars for the last weekend in July, Friday, July 30and Saturday, July 31, 2010. Plenty of entertainment, food, fun, and of course sensational values from participating downtown merchants will abound.
This once-a-year event features more than 100 downtown businesses joining forces to offer you great savings on some of the finest merchandise to be discovered in downtowns anywhere. Sales begin at 9 am on Friday. Don’t be late!

Celebrate our nation's birthday in Petoskey!
6:00 pm Parade - The parade begins at the High School and continues to Downtown to Mitchell Streort to Petoskey Street to Lake Street and ends at Pennsylvania Park.
7:00 pm Entertainment - Enjoy performances at the Waterfront. Concessions provided by local Vietnam Veterans.
7:00-8:30 pm Ice Cream Social - At Little Traverse Regional Historical Society Museum

Concerts in the Park
The 30th annual season of the Charlotte Ross Lee Concerts in the Park series will brighten our Tuesdays and Fridays throughout the summer of 2010. Downtown employees, residents, and visitors can grab their friends, their lunches, and their dancing shoes and join us for a great afternoon or evening concert.
And remember, we don't have rain delays, we just move the whole concert up to the Petoskey Presbyterian Church on the corner of East Mitchell Street and Division Street (across from the Crooked Tree Arts Center).
