Petoskey Pretzel Co. first opened its doors in June 2017 to widespread enthusiasm and community acclaim.

As a retired high school mathematics teacher and graduate degree-holding educator, founder Lisa Kaniewski has as much of a passion for quality-made pretzels as local education. Sporting an “Algebra Problem of the Day” on the shop’s chalkboard, the Petoskey Pretzel Co. hopes not only to serve the finest freshly made and soft-baked pretzels in the Petoskey area, but also to give back to the community by promoting education and encouraging learning in a fun, pretzel-rich environment. 😋
